Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar’s film My Name Is Khan has won hearts worldwide, but it is particularly turning out to be quite a rage among the movie buffs in the Middle East.

With $3.3 million in collections, the movie has emerged as the highest Bollywood earner in the Middle East. And in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the film is slated to make its place among the top four movies of all time.

What has particularly struck a chord among the audiences is the film’s message of tolerance and love in a world riddled with prejudices after 9/11.

Next week the film will open in other countries like Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

MNIK has so far made more than Rs. 100 crore in India and Rs. 72 crores abroad.
