King Khan apologises to his fans
Shahrukh Khan stuck to his guns in spite of the threat from the Shiv Sena and other political outfits to ban his film My Name is Khan if he didn’t apologise for supporting the inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the IPL. However, the King Khan has apologised to his fans all over the world for the inconvenience he had caused.
Some section of the media reported that Shahrukh had apologised on twitter over the controversy on his film but it’s very clear that it was not directed to the Shiv Sena or any political outfits for that matter. “i thank u all for this..apologise for giving stress over the last few days…& now truly know the meaning of being humbled.lov u all so much (sic),” tweeted the Bollywood Baadshah.

Firstly, I did not see a real apology from SRK to his fans. He only apologized to his fans for the stress they had to go through. He did not say he caused it, or even if the Sena caused it.
Having said that, while I believe SRK need not apologize to the Sena, he absolutely deserves to apologize to the nation for his utterances for the reasons below.
His call for Indians to love Pakistanis when Indians (& his Mumbaikars) are still licking the wounds of 26/11 while the terrorists and their Pakistani masters are busy planning the next attack is a mockery of the pacifist Indian psyche. This also smacks of SRK’s utter disregard for all the service personnel and others who have laid down their lives in defence of the nation, and to make SRK’s and every other Indians life more secure.
Secondly his call to love Pakistanis because his family was from Pakistan is once again like rubbing salt on the magnanimous Indians who have bestowed their unfettered love on him.
Instead of apologizing to the nation, SRK has cleverly steered the discussions away from these two main issues while focusing on his Indianness etc.
In conclusion just as his other more gracious Bollywood colleagues, had SRK asked to keep politics out of sport and requested Pakistani players to be included (even though that in itself is debatable), he would have had much more support among the Indian populace.
Hope at least now SRK will show his gratitude to the nation and also to his die hard fans by apologizing in a meaningful manner for his comments without further misleading Indians…… I am not sure if he can do that!

The problem with this creature SRK is that he is thinking himself as larger than life person. Remember his arrogant remarks about Mr. Sunil Gavasker during last IPL, USA airport fisco, now this. He is making fool of everybody to keep his name always in the news.SRK’s stand has always been clumsy.Nobody doubts his integrity,but why should he try to act in a way that indicates his Double Standard.He must know that if he has any sympathy for any Pakistani Players he should have sacrificed at least one place in his team for any of them.Sure he do not want any Mayhem in Mumbai then he should have met Balasaheb to clarify that. That could be a better way, if -even Mr. Pawar has shown the way he should have tried. Shiv sena is wrong as well as SRK,Why should SRK set on the fire for shiv sena to get a chance to act.SRK and his big mounth is breaking the INDIAN UNITY, he thinks everything is business. Shahrukh Khan’s My Name is Khan witnessed a wonderful opening, thanks to the publicity given by the Shiv Sena. It earned Rs.90.2 crore in the opening week but its collections have dropped drastically this week. Amit Awasthi, Manager of Spice Cinemas, said that the ticket sales of My Name is Khan has fallen from 30 percent on Wednesday to 20 percent on Thursday. He added that lack of entertainment elements must be the cause of the fall in its demand.
A source from PVR cinemas said that the occupancy has fallen from 90 percent to 50 percent on Monday. Delhi-based distributor Joginder Mahajan also said that there has been a drastic fall in the ticket sales of MNIK after Monday due to lack of entertainment elements and mass appeal, which today’s youngsters want. He added that it is a repeat of Kurbaan.
This is an example of what happens when you try to defend your acts and try to please only one community. Intial market gar helped opening but crahsed to its reality. Down with such cheap gimmicks

MNIK is Muslim friendly, that’s why it is facing problem in India….
My Name is Khan was a great movie. Many children are being diagnosed with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome and I’m glad Shahrukh Khan decided to do this film to bring awareness of this syndrome. He did an excellent job bringing such a character to film, especially not a typical character we are used to seeing.
Anyone talking of 26/11 should know first the reality of the drama then talk in public.
Hey SRK, forget about any Sena..they are responsible for dividing India and most of the Indian has realised it…..Jisko nahi Samagh nahi aaya hai they will also realise very soon when any such incident happen in their life..
