My Name is Khan : Gauri Khan thanks SRK’s fans
As the Shiv Sena’s threats simmered down, My Name Is Khan (MNIK) opened to packed houses in most multiplexes in the city on Saturday.
In the absence of Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan personally thanked the viewers for their support to the movie My Name Is Khan.
Khan’s wife Gauri, also a co-producer of the film, visited INOX multiplex at Nariman Point with her daughter Suhana. Stating that the film has released all across the state, she added that she was overwhelmed by the response. “What is better than saying Jai Maharashtra? We love Mumbai, and Shah Rukh is really excited. He will be coming to the cinemas on Sunday to meet his fans,” she said.
She also visited Metro cinema in south Mumbai and interacted with the audience there. Gauri was quick to rubbish speculation that the film was attracting crowds due to the controversy generated on the eve of its release.

i HAVE SEEN MNIK. HAVE NOT SEEN SUCH A BAD MOVIE MOVIE OF SHAHRUKH KHAN.ONLY SCENES OF AMERICAIG GOOD.STORY FAILS TO SPRES ITS MESSAGE.LAST MONTH I WATCHED 3 IDIOTS.OVERALL I CAN SAY I DIDNOT GET MAJA AS I GOR IN 3 EDIOTS. SRK IS A GREAT SUPER STAR BUT SEEN LAKING ACTING SKILLS INMNIK.
