Chavan Shahrukh’s bodyguard : Bal Thackeray
The screening of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer My Name Is Khan remained peaceful on Saturday, with shows running in 49 theatres across the city. However, as the Shiv Sena has not officially called off the protests, the police intend to continue providing security to the theatres.
Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Saturday accused Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan of behaving like the bodyguard of actor Shah Rukh Khan.
‘‘The CM should stand outside ‘Mannat’ (SRK’s house) and protect the actor,’’ Thackeray wrote in ‘Saamna’, the Sena mouthpiece.
