I see the great reviews everyone has left and I think to myself .. really..? was it that good? Except for all the hype star plus has created , I honestly feel it wasn’t all that great. After 20 mins it was getting more and more difficult to continue watching the movie . Although it was thought provoking and had a noble message, I agree, but from an entertainment perspective I feel it failed miserably. After all the wonderful work Karan Johar had done in his previous movies, this was not up to the mark that he has set for himself. Nonetheless every one did a great job, SRK as always had put in a lot of hard work and Kajol looked and acted well too.

hi i sAW the film yesterday and it was dissappointing sorry guys iam not going against the flow here but the portrayal of aspergers syndrome was not up to the mark(see rainman)and even though the performances were really good the movie seems to drag.. I am sorry but i thnk without the publicity the movie would have flopped badly.. since it has garnered a lot of cheap publicity (thnks to shiv sena)everyone seems to consider this movie as a master piece which it clearly isn’t.
to sum up my view it is a very avg karan johar film….

It is a movie which made me cry to be very honest. The message of the film, and ironically the scenario amidst which the message comes, can only be called a dramatic co-incidence. I really think this movie is all about SRK, the actor, rather than SRK, the star, the portrayal of the auteist could have been technically more sound.
