Rizwan is undeniably the best thing about My Name is Khan. Shah Rukh’s performance has little subtlety about it – for that watch Hugh Dancy doing Asperger’s in Adam – but it is heartfelt, endearing and more controlled than anything he’s ever done before. Watch him in a lovely scene in which Kajol accepts his proposal or how he restrains his tears so that his eyes brim but never well over.
I recommend that you see Khan for him. The film itself is too uneven to give us the emotional high we were waiting for.

Director Karan Johar, the visionary that he is, injects new life into the stale Bollywood drama genre by introducing a mentally handicapped leading man and his loving wife, only to pull the rug from under us by transposing their roles when you least expect it. The acting is expectedly over the top, but MNIK thankfully does not completely reduce SRK, one of the best screen actors of all time, to a mugging embarrassment. Shahrukh really tries hard to dole up a studied, thoughtful performance, but the story is just terrible and written, no doubt, to accommodate several agendas. The ploy works, for SRK’s Rizwan Khan WILL melt fans’ hearts and leave them chanting, ‘Filmfare award! Filmfare award!! Get this guy a Filmfare award!!’

A fascinating love story
The film ‘My name Is Khan’ is prestigious project for Karan Johar as a director. After Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Ghum, Johar once again returned with SRK-Kajol pair on celluloid.
MNIK’s success will be proved as a landmark in Karan Johar’s directorial career.

Kajol is brilliant and this time her eyes do a lot more tlaking than her words. Watch out for the change in emotions reflected so beautifully in her eyes as the film goes through its turmoils. The screenplay clearly shows that both Shibani Bathija and Karan Johar have done their research and done it well. You can see that in SRK’s mannerisms and in the bigger picture.
But the true credit of the film goes to only one person – Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan carries the story entirely on his shoulder without any crutches of make-up and prosthetics, his signature lover boy image left at the door along with the designer clothes or larger than life dialogues.

Just watched the movie….For the first time in my life, I feel too timid and unworthy of giving reviews for such a magnamus and divine film…Its not just a film its an important incident/phase of my life which has to a certain extent helped me become a better human being…and the irony is that a filmmaker like Karan Johar’s made the film..
Last but not the least Shahrukh, from today on you’re my biggest!!!!source of inspiration!!U deserve the oscars man…
Sharukh! while reading above remarks, not a single critic has questioned film and performances. What do you expect from a great actor who carries the entire film on his shoulders and completely transforms his lucky boy image to suit the message conveyor of the film.

I watched the movie yesterday was expecting much more but end betrayed.The movie sucks ,the movie is unnecessery long.
jokes are from 1857 revolution..totally outdated ..one can see what srk is trying to do..if ur trying something ..the audience shudnt identify tat u r trying..srk tried to copy tom hanks but end no where as cmpred to him..

I have seen so many films in my life, both hollywood and bollywood. I watched the film on friday and it feels that i am still watching it. It has an emmense power, it is an amazing movie. Who says hollywood is no 1, I think all the hollywood movie makers should watch this film and learn how to make films. SRK is as amazing more than what he ever has been and kajol, how could she act so well.Seeing the film was an amazing experience. karan is truely the best ever director bron in india and surely is the one of the best in the world. I can with confidence say that this was the best movie ever made in India and it will take God knows what to beat this one.

its a too boring movie.its not as per the Karan Johar’s standard movie. its a total boggas movie as i never had seen.as it was released on the occassion of Valantine day it spoils my time and day.
I think shahrukh is spoiling his image by doing this kind of role.he is chocolate hero so he should go for that kind of romantic movie.I suggest everybody if u want to go for movie watch any small budget movie but dont go for MNIK (My name is khan)…

True picture of whats going on in the world no matter if you hindu or muslim or sikh. and what we have to go thru just being related to one of the above religion in western world. Just now watched the movie in cineworld,abz,u.k……its just excellent….the quality and standard of acting and the chemistry between srk and kajol will linger for ever….a bold step…i think srk is in london today wish i could have reached him and congratulate……the bold step shown by karan throughout the world is just admirable….
