We have been giving you regular exclusive updates about Karan Johar’s next directorial venture (right down to the scratch tunes!) after KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI, KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM and KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA (all starting with the letter “K”).
Karan Johar, on his very first blog (mynameiskaran.com) finally ended months of speculation and let the world know, officially, the name of his next directorial project and who would play the leads. In a p.s. he wrote: “my film is finally titled, “My Name is Khan” (alvida, “K’) and it stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. This is my first official announcement.”

Though there were media reports regarding Kajol’s dilly-dallying over signing the film, MY NAME IS KHAN, we had confirmed it long time back.

Well, here is the official announcement from the producer-director Karan Johar himself. On his official blog, Karan says, “My film is finally titled, “My Name is Khan” (alvida, “K”) and it stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. This is my first official announcement.”

So the dream team of SRK and Kajol will be seen together again! Though it seems from reports that the film will be taking the actors on a different path than in his other films, since it is set around 9/11 and Shah Rukh will be playing an autistic man.
